ESMA – Guidelines on the assessment of knowledge and skills under MiCA

The ESMA guidelines published on 28 January 2026 specify how competent authorities and Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASP) should assess, maintain and document the knowledge and skills of staff who provide information on crypto-assets or crypto-asset services and/or provide advice on crypto-assets or crypto-asset services.
