EU Supervisory Authorities – Warning about certain crypto-assets and providers
The EU Supervisory Authorities, composed of the three ESAs (EBA, ESMA, EIOPA), issued a joint consumer warning on 6 October 2025, highlighting that crypto-assets remain high-risk and, depending on the asset and the provider, legal/consumer protections may be limited.
