The Seqlense Regulatory Brief - Edition #30 EN

Edition #30 documents the European digital frameworks entering their tooling phase: none of the week’s three publications creates a new obligation, but each provides a concrete instrument of application. On 21 October, the Treasury, the AMF, the ACPR and the Banque de France published their joint response to the MiCA review consultation, setting out the French vision of the division between crypto-assets, payments and tokenised finance. On 19 October, the Commission presented EN 18286:2026, the first harmonised standard supporting the AI Act, which turns Article 17 into auditable processes. The same 21 October, the FCA opened two consultations on the perimeter of its future crypto regime (CP26/36) and on DeFi risks (GC26/7). The operational line: reference frameworks are taking shape before the final texts, and those who structure their documentation now will approach 2027 in a favourable position.
